What's a Georgia summer without a thunderstorm every afternoon? I love the look of the sunlight during that time of day when the rain is about to roll in. That yellowish hazy glow that's one part foggy and one part spooky? It's so beautiful to me. I abhor overhead lighting so I rely on lots of natural light to keep me from tripping over roving/roaming chihuahuas. But that dim storm light gives me an early excuse to flip on a few on my favorite lamps and bulbs that I usually reserve for nighttime illumination...
Oh, and how perfect would it be to have a thunderstorm lamp for rainy afternoons? I saw it a few months back but I just might try my hand at making one, eh?
