This past week we splurged for a big ol' mess of veggies from Athens Locally Grown. For just over $50 we got enough produce and herbs to feed us for the weeks to come in a fresh, organic and (yay!) local way. Needless to say, our tiny kitchen has seen a lot of action the last number of days despite the growing heat of summer. On Sunday we wanted to move things outside in order to enjoy the few cool breezes the cloudy evening had brought, so we fired up the grill for the first time this year.
A simple marinade + some squash, zucchini, mushrooms, onions and poblanos = dinner.

There's nothing like a fun afternoon with good food and good company to make one feel right with the world...
ha! That photo of your hubby over the grill is hilarious. We get local organic produce too, and I LOVE grilling all those veggies (fruits too!) outside this time of year. High five girl.
