This Must Be The Place & Butter), sparkling water and more doggy snuggles than usual. I just hope that I feel better by later this morning since we have plans to visit the High Museum again for the Frida-Rivera exhibit as well as see friends and find a few tea houses and buy kitchen stuff at IKEA...and buy more more records too! Whoa, busy day ahead...
A trip out of town and a day off will do me good, I think, even if I'm still a bit green 'round the gills. Lately I've felt a lot of negativity swirling around me and that includes the blog-o-sphere. It's as if some folks aren't having rational conversations anymore and instead are just shouting out dislike/anger/judgement at each other or at the moon...and I really dislike shouting. Maybe it's silly of me to say anything when I just moaned about my illness but I can't help feeling the way I do. La, we all have our struggles and I'm not judging folks (myself included) for having an off day/week but rather I'm just being aware of my emotional center and how it's affecting my world...and my emotional center is very sensitive right now it seems.
Anyhoo, let me turn to another topic and ramp up the positivity, eh? Want to see all the stuff I've been finding on the web?!?

Best link roundup ever! I've seen that first Dr. Cat comic before but didn't know there was a whole series. Also, I am really really jealous of you going to the Kahlo-Rivera exhibit! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better, soon. And I second Jenny. My favourite is Catlanta. I love free art. And it involves cats. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat dog photo bomb is probably the best thing I have seen all week, seriously. Feel better soon dear.
ReplyDeletecheers.
Hope you are on the road to recovery. Stomach bugs are the worst. Nothing like some Tom Waits to make a bad day a little better I say, he is my ultimate happy place. I adored This Must Be The Place. I saw it a couple of months ago but it has stuck with me and I think I need to see it again. What did you think of it?
