Costumes, anyone?

25 October 2012
Sorry for skipping my post for yesterday but I ended up dragging my sick butt all the way to Atlanta so I wouldn't miss a trip to the market with Brady.  I was totally out of tea, croissants and fruit...my sick food staples.  I have no regrets but I will say that after all that shopping, and eating of samosas from the Market's amazing food bar, my energy level was kaput.

Luckily, I'm feeling boocoodles better right now and I've already made a list of things that I want to get accomplished.  On today's docket is cleaning (which is much needed after a trip and an illness), a trip to the library, finding some local tomatoes before they are all gone, and, most importantly, a trip thrift store to begin assembling my Halloween costume.  The latter is definitely the most exciting for me!  Fingers crossed that I find everything I need...

My outfit is a secret right now because I want to see how it comes together before I show it off.  Oh, I hope this works!  I will give you a little hint: it's a real-life person who's British and amazing.  No, it's not Colin Firth or Benedict Cumberbatch.

If it doesn't work then I've got a few other last-minute ideas stashed away.  Want to see?

As you can tell, I tend to a) stay away from any Halloween costume with the word 'sexy' in the title, b) love grey makeup, and c) like for things to stick off the top of my head.

How about you?  Any ideas on what you and/or yours will be for Halloween?

Oh, and don't forget these great Halloween themed ideas - here, here and here!

  3. I'm kinda liking the gray makeup myself too. :) I'm not dressing up this year, I'm lame. My place isn't even decorated. I swear it was August last week, time just caught up with me. I'll plan better next year.

  7. That first one is creepy and intriguing at the same time... Kind of like Katy Perry's E.T. music video. You just can't stop watching it, and then you get to the part where she has deer legs... intriguing...
Me and the man are dressing up as bandits for Halloween with our loot! You'll have to see pictures next week!
