Today I decided to make the most of an hour or so of free time and head to the Sandy Creek Nature Center to finish my explorations. The first visit went by waaaay too fast and so did this one! It will take me many a visit to say that I've explored everything this place has to offer.
I brought Miss Vienna with me so that she could join in the fun. Her tagging along on adventures is becoming more and more common place since she's getting older and I want to make sure that her golden years are full o' fun. She loved sniffing random thing and rolling around in mystery muck (bath time happened immediately upon arriving home!) and trotting around on the trails. She's such a good hiking companion.
So, I'm including a LOT of photos in this post. Be warned. I'm having a blast with working with manual photography right now! And the weather is so amazing that so many things are blooming, unearthing, flying, buzzing, opening, closing, flying and just being. Wowzer!
Poor Vienna. She wore herself out today.
The mushrooms that grow here are amazing, eh? I want to make a whole series of them for framing so I better get out there and do it before the frost comes.
Ooooh, and I forgot this picture of a daddy longleg spider. I love them!
