My Life In Pictures...

30 August 2012

This last week has been a whirlwind of the mundane, the hectic, the adventurous and the downright debaucherous.

finally finished my chair project
took a trip to Atlanta where I met with friends, dealt with some issues and then ate and drank a ton
learned how to tell someone 'I never want to see you again!' in Italian
discovered Ben's Bikes
caught kitties lurking in windows
enjoyed some porch time
went on a date night and saw some comedy and drank way too much whiskey and now feel like caca
ate a late-night splurge burger due to such said whiskey and now I feel terrible about it
made my version of pimento cheese which is banana peppers and tofu and cheese and yogurt...yum!
started my docent work and I'm in love with it...I got to hold a hedgehog!
contributed a no-makeup portrait for Rebecca's awesome image liberating movement

I got a very late start to the day so I'm struggling to get caught up on so many things.  It feels like a Monday or a Freaky Friday instead of Thursday.  *sigh*  Ok, off to get organized, download some more podcasts, do some Pilates (maybe it'll help this headache), drink some more tea (pot #2) and help my friend Melissa pack for her trip.  I hope everyone has a great day and that your week has been full of happiness (and not so much whiskey that you feel bad)...

Update:  Pilates kicked my butt today but my head is clear and I feel a lot better.  Yay!

  1. A fellow whiskey girl! Yes! Sorry you're not feeling well, but I don't find many other chick whiskey lovers. At least none who can hang with it through the night ;)

    1. I usually drink red wine on the porch but whiskey is the only liquor that I like/love/drink...and I drank a LOT last night on the town...and held my own, I must say. It's just so darn delicious and this place had one that was so smokey and smooth...from Chicago? Yum.

  2. One of these days, I'm gonna have lights hanging from my porch and take pretty pictures of it.

Glad that everything is superb =D

    1. I think it is a requirement in my neighborhood - holiday/string lights everywhere! The walk 'round in the evenings is quite magical...
