I just love the painted wall outside of The Last Resort Grill and we had a photo taking marathon there when Adam was visiting. The mural is so detailed, and amazingly bright and well kept. The restaurant even painted the security cameras as part of the theme and you can't see them at all...sneaky, sneaky, sneaky...but that's why the mural still looks immaculate, eh?
In regards to clothes, this is a super comfy dress that I wear when I need something easy and unfussy to start my day...and there's something about purple that always puts a smile on my face. It's the first time I've worn the dress out of the house because I always feel like the skirt is a bit short for public viewing and that my boobs look a bit bigger in it. Well, my boobs are big...can't change that! Can you tell I'm trying to be brave about my fashion choices and I'm pushing myself to try new things? Oh, and the neckline is supposed to be straight but I was carrying around my new camera bag today and it pulled it askew. Which my trusty photographer aka 'hubby' failed to notice...as did I. Oops! And if my shoes look a little grey in the front it's because they suffered at the hands of my exuberant spray painting adventures last week. Anyone know a good way to remove paint from leather...? Maybe I shouldn't be quite so carefree in my fashion choices after all. Hmmm...
Today we are going to head over to Memorial Park and spend some time exploring. Then I plan on doing a bit of writing (I've started rough sketches for my children's book!), unpack my winter coats, read The Man Who Changed The Way We Eat, catch up on emails, listen to some Timber Timbre, fill out applications (again...*sigh*) and, if the weather doesn't turn too humid, maybe trying to finish my chair project.
