I've used rafflecopter a couple of times and for a bigger giveaway I think it's really good/easy to use! If I'm doing something small, where I just want people to comment for a chance to win, there's no need, but when there's more than one prize from more than one person, it can get complex if people have to follow different people then comment for each thing.... Rafflecopter makes it easy, although I do think sometimes people go overboard. I try to limit mine to 4 or 5 options to enter. But that's just me! Sorry for the long answer!x
